Administrative Costs

MOMS trims administrative costs to the core, yet we must do things like pay fees to state and federal agencies in the U.S. and in Sierra Leone, to operate fully legally in all jurisdictions.

We registered with the Sierra Leonean government because it is illegal to teach or work in their clinics without registering. We know others do not operate legally and they have actually interfered with our work. We will not dishonor our partners by flouting their laws. We pay our Sierra Leonean staff a living wage.

Because we will not operate illegally or unethically, we do have “overhead”.
