Our Programs

We provide midwifery education through our distance learning option.

We also are involved in
international projects, providing maternity care and education
in West Africa.

Other Opportunities?

We are glad to hear of other opportunities.  While we are focused now on Sierra
Leone and our clinic, we are glad to exchange ideas and suggestions.

Feel free to ask questions and offer ideas.
When MOMS considers a project or program, we first ask three questions:

  • Is this program or project closely aligned with our mission and focus?
  • Do we have the resources, or can we get them, to conduct this program or
    project successfully?
  • Do the other people involved share our values and philosophy of service?

If the answers to these questions are yes, we will explore the options.  Other people
have dreams and passions and goals that are laudable, but are not ours.  We keep
our focus sharp because we want to excel in service, and not get stretched so thin
that we become mediocre.

Our mission is to improve maternal/child health and maternity outcomes through
education and service.

Our focus is on low-income women around the world who would otherwise have no
access to care.
